Founding
and Mission – LAMM was founded in
2000 as a missionary-sending agency, to serve the Mexican church and the
missionaries whom God is calling to take the gospel to the nations from
Mexico.
Structure –
LAMM is registered as a non-profit
organization (S.C.) in Mexico. A board of directors meets
regularly and is responsible for its successful operation.
Function of the agency
 | Bring the call to missions to the
Mexican church. |
| Prepare Mexican missionary candidates
for foreign-field service. |
| Provide administrative services to the
Mexican missionaries. |
| Provide pastoral care for Mexican field
missionaries. |
| Establish relationships with ‘receiving
agencies’ for placement of Mexican missionaries abroad. |
Current work
| LAMM is currently serving Mexican
missionaries in North Africa, the Middle East and Asia and in Bible
translation |
| "Inmersión” - A
proven discipleship and missions training program. Inmersión
offers a short-term experience, provides missionary training and a
cross-cultural experience in a disciplined atmosphere. |
| Pastoral care for missionaries
–Proper spiritual covering requires ‘walking’ where the missionary walks
and experiencing life on the field with him or her. Two board members
will travel together on two trips per year. (4 people traveling
/year). This is an invaluable encouragement to pioneer missionaries. |
| Hosting or Speaking at Conferences
and Seminars to promote and develop the Mexican missionary movement. |
