September 15, 2007   The mission of Latin America to the World is to transform the mission field of Mexico into a Missions Force that will impact the world.  One of the main tools of achieving this purpose is the Mexican missions agency, Latinoamérica al Mundo México S.C. (LAMM), established by Latin America to the World in 2000.   LAMM was formed to be a model for sending-structures in Mexico and over the last 7 years has been successful in screening, equipping and sending a number of Mexicans to the field.  We are now growing!  The two most notable areas are: Pastoral Care for missionaries; and Inmersión, a recruiting and training program for missionary candidates.    LAMM is now actively seeking resources which will enable us to build on the history, experience, and relationships which make LAMM a leader in the Mexican missions movement and ensure no field missionaries ‘die on the vine’ for lack of oversight and proper preparation.    Specifically, we are asking you to be a supporter of Latinoamérica al Mundo, México S.C.; that you join with and adopt LAMM as a missions enterprise separate from the support given to the ministry of the Rupes.  All funds designated for LAMM will be placed under the administration of the agency’s board of directors to be used solely for the advancement of LAMM’s objectives.    On the following page is a brief overview of the ministry and the projects which require financial support.  More detailed information can be found on our website or by contacting us directly.   Donations from the U.S. should be sent to Latin America to the World in Shawnee, KS and designated for LAMM.  If you are also sending support for the Rupes we ask that you send a separate check.   Lord Bless,   Bill Rupe President Latin America to the World   Related Links Project Overview    Project Vision and Objectives of LAMM    LAMM Recent Newsletter which features Immersion      April 2007 Overview of Immersion   Immersion Download document in Word    Project Calendar of upcoming events    Calendar
